Why can’t my buyer see a request?

Buyers only see requests that are assigned to them. An unassigned request is invisible to buyers — opening it directly shows “not found.” A Project Manager (or Administrator) must assign the request to the buyer first; after assignment, the buyer can open it and create an RFQ from it. Requestors, similarly, only see requests they created.

Why does every PO (or award) need approval?

The approval thresholds default to 0, which means every amount requires approval. There are two separate thresholds: one gates the award decision, the other gates sending the PO. Raise either threshold in Settings if you want small purchases to skip approval — only amounts above the threshold will then require it.

Can I change my organization’s base currency?

Yes. Go to Settings → Financial and pick a new Base currency. Seloria uses a single base currency per organization for budgets and dashboard KPIs, so amounts aren’t mixed across currencies in reporting.

How do suppliers submit quotes without an account?

Suppliers never need to create an account. When you publish an RFQ, each invited contact receives an email with a secure, unique link to a response portal where they can review the RFQ, ask questions, and submit their quotation. The link is tied to that invitation and expires; a human-verification check protects the portal from abuse.

Can suppliers ask questions about an RFQ?

Yes. The supplier portal includes a Q&A section where invited suppliers can post questions. Your team answers them from the RFQ page, and the supplier is notified by email when an answer arrives.

Why was I signed out?

Seloria allows one active session per user. If you (or someone with your credentials) sign in on another device or browser, the previous session is closed — within about a minute it redirects to the login page explaining that you signed in elsewhere. If you didn’t sign in elsewhere, change your password immediately.

Can I undo an award?

Yes. Reverting an award puts the RFQ back into an open state and returns the supplier quotations to “submitted” so you can award again. Any budget reservation tied to the award is released. Reverting is a procurement decision, so requestors cannot do it. The reversal is recorded in the document’s History tab.

How do I re-send a supplier invitation?

Send the RFQ invitations again to the same supplier. The previous invitation’s quotations are marked as superseded and the contact receives a fresh link. (Separately, if a team member never accepted their invite, an Administrator can resend it from Settings → Users.)

What happens if I skip the setup wizard?

You can skip the wizard once your organization has a name — every step is optional. Seloria then applies sensible defaults: approval thresholds at 0 (everything requires approval) and standard SLA windows. Everything the wizard covers — thresholds, SLAs, team invitations, catalogs — can be configured later in Settings.

Why am I not receiving email notifications?

Check Settings → Notifications. Both the Email notifications master switch and the toggle for the specific event must be on. Note the defaults: most events are on, the weekly summary is on, and the monthly summary is off until you enable it.

Is my data visible to other companies using Seloria?

No. Every record is scoped to your organization and isolation is enforced at the database layer on every query. Users from another organization can never see your requests, RFQs, suppliers, prices, or settings.

Why can’t I change the role of our last administrator?

Seloria blocks demoting or deactivating the last remaining Administrator — both in the interface and on the server — so an organization can never lock itself out of admin functions. Promote another user to Administrator first, then change the original one.
