This guide takes you from creating an account to sending your first RFQ to a supplier.
1. Create your account
Go to the signup page and choose one of two paths:
Email signup
- Enter your First name, Last name, and Work email.
- Set a Password (a live checklist shows the password requirements as you type) and confirm it.
- Enter your Organization name — this appears on your RFQs, purchase orders, and supplier emails.
- Complete the security check and click Start free.
- Check your inbox and click the confirmation link. The link signs you in and provisions your organization automatically.
Google signup
- Click Continue with Google and pick your Google account.
- Since Google doesn’t know your company, Seloria asks one extra question: give your workspace an Organization name and click Continue.
Either way, your organization is created with you as its Admin, and a set of default catalogs (currencies, units, statuses, and more) is seeded so you can work immediately.
2. Complete the setup wizard (or skip it)
After signup you land on the Welcome to Seloria screen. The wizard walks you through six short steps — organization details, team and approvals, budgets, notifications, SLAs, and team invitations. It takes about three minutes.
In a hurry? Click Skip setup to accept sensible defaults and go straight to the app. You can also skip individual steps with Skip for now. Everything the wizard configures can be changed later in Settings. See the onboarding wizard for the full walkthrough.
When you click Finish (or skip), you land on your dashboard.
3. Create your first RFQ
- In the sidebar, open Sourcing and click New Request.
- On the Start a new request screen, pick the process type. For a price request, choose RFQ. Seloria creates a draft immediately and opens the editor.
- Fill in the RFQ details: title, dates, project, and other header fields.
- In the Line items section, add the items you want quoted — description, quantity, and unit. You can also import items or pick a cost category per row.
- In the Suppliers section, search and select the suppliers to invite. You need at least one supplier before issuing.
No suppliers yet? Add one first under Suppliers → Add Supplier, or bulk-import your supplier list from a CSV/XLSX file under Suppliers → All Suppliers.
4. Issue the RFQ
You have two options:
- Save as draft — keep working on it and issue later from the RFQ detail page.
- Publish RFQ — a confirmation dialog asks you to confirm; on Confirm and Publish, Seloria saves the RFQ and emails an invitation to every selected supplier.
Each invited supplier receives an email with a secure link to the supplier portal, where they submit their quote — they don’t need a Seloria account. Suppliers can also ask clarification questions through the portal; you’ll see and answer them on the RFQ.
5. What happens next
As quotes arrive you’ll get notified (based on your notification preferences). From the RFQ detail page you can compare quotes side by side, award a supplier, and convert the award into a purchase order. If the award amount exceeds your approval threshold, it routes for approval first — approvers can act straight from the email.
